Kanata Store

Len had run his own retail business for the past 15 years. He had closed it two years ago and could not wait to get back into business for himself! He was awarded a Monster Blowout in early 2009 and opened his Monster store in early September. His brought his son to town, all the way from South Beach to help him run the business while he continued to work at his full time job as a car salesman. His store was 4000 sq ft and located in a popular strip mall in Kanata, Ontario. He basically had people waiting at the door every morning from the day that he opened. What surprised him most was the amount of foot traffic going through the store. His son Dustin did a great job decorating the store and making it fun. Both father and son spent time after the store closed handing out car flyers in nearby parking lots. Len was amazed by the supplier support that Monster would get. He could not believe that he could place a

$10 000 order on a Monday morning and have it in his store by Wednesday. Len was so excited about his success early on that he looked into opening another store in early October. Len and Dustin are both excited about next Halloween season. Len is still at his full time job and Dustin has headed back to South Beach as an event planer.
